Keeping You Safe

At The Owl and The Coconut, we aim to provide all of our services to the highest possible standard. We have a statutory duty of care to safeguard children, young people and adults at risk who come into contact with the organisation in any way.

Safeguarding is a key part of this. We take a proactive approach, aiming to protect everyone we come into contact with from abuse and neglect. As well as taking actions to prevent abuse and other forms of harm, we also have a duty to act when we believe that someone is being harmed, or is at risk.

If you would like to ask us about confidentiality or safeguarding you can contact us by email (please note that these contact details are not to be used in emergencies – if you, or someone else is in immediate danger call 999).

You can also report concerns to the local Safeguarding Contact Centre on 0161 234 5001 (24 hours/7 days a week).

You can request copies of our Confidentiality, Safeguarding, Child Protection and Adults at Risk Policies using the same contact details.
